Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Journal of International Relations, Security and Economic Studies (JIRSES)is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest ethical code of conduct and standards for all the parties involved in the process and act of publishing in a peer-reviewed journal: the author, the editor of the journal, the peer reviewer and the publisher. In doing this, JIRSESis guided by the guidelines defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). For further guidelines on COPE, please visit the link https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/1999pdf13.pdf

JIRSES has a zero-tolerance for plagiarism and papers submitted for review are first checked for suitability, followed by checking its contents for plagiarism via the Grammarly Tools. Plagiarized papers are rejected.

Review Process

The review process being a key process of ensuring quality publication takes a period of 4-8 weeks. Papers are reviewed by competent reviewers to determine their suitability for publication. The process involved an assigned editorial member and independent reviewer scrutinizing the content of a submitted manuscript to determine the suitability of the paper and logical consistency of the debate presented in the paper. Normally decisions whether a paper should be accepted, amended or rejected will be based on editorial informed recommendations. To ensure that manuscripts are evaluated justly, fairly and objectively, the author’s identity is concealed from reviewers during the review process. The full names including institutional affiliations and ORCID of all contributors or authors should appear on a separate cover page of the manuscript. Submitted manuscripts by any member of the JIRSES editorial board or other RCMSS associated journals are subjected to the same editorial and review process and procedure. Manuscript with the defamatory language will be rejected.

The Editorial Board of JIRSES reserves the right to reject any manuscript deemed not suitable for publication in the journal.
